The Atlanta aquarium in Atlanta Georgia has an amazing exhibit including a very very huge tank where for a fee one can swim with whale sharks. A friend of mine got to do this and I got to watch and enjoy the seeing the patterns on the back of these beautiful creatures.
It is amazing how something that is so large filter feeds on tiny plankton something that is so very small.
Inspired by this beautiful animal I have made a new pencil case out of a designer wool sample a zipper and some grommets. Then I made several more out of blue ultrasuade and stenciled dots onto the back. It inspired me to get a proper grommet setting tool and take my grommet setting up to the pro level.
